Agentic AI is an autonomous system that can act independently to achieve goals. Unlike traditional AI, which responds to requests or analyzes data, agentic AI can set goals, plan, and perform tasks with minimal human input. Meta is developing this technology.
The Work
Meta’s Llama 4 models support agentic AI applications. Brian Pia consulted with the Mercor team to train Llama 4 to improve consumer experiences in online product and grocery shopping, doctor appointment scheduling, car dealership recommendations, and home renovation and real estate advice.
The Results
Meta’s Llama 4 is used by over 1 billion monthly active users across Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram.
